Muharram

Ÿ He is the son of Hazrat Ali Ibn Abi Talib (may ALLAH be pleased with him) regarding whom Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon Him) said on the day of Khaybar, “Tomorrow I will give the flag to somebody who will be given victory (by ALLAH ) and who loves ALLAH and His Messenger and is loved by ALLAH and His Messenger.” The next day, Prophet gave the flag to Hazrat Ali Ibn Abi Talib (may ALLAH be pleased with him) . Ÿ His mother is Hazrat Fatima , the daughter of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon Him) and she is the chief of the women of Paradise. Ÿ His elder brother is Hazrat Imam Hasan (may ALLAH be pleased with him) about whom Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon Him) said, “O ALLAH, I love him, so love him and love those who loves him.” Ÿ Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon Him) has also said, “ Al-Hasan and Al-Husain are the chiefs of the youth of Paradise.” These are a few of the great significance that ALLAH has bestowed upon Hazrat Imam Husain (may ALLAH be pleasedwith him). 6
