One of the greatest benefits of seeking guidance from ALLAH is arriving at the stage where the doubts are solved, there is no confusion or distress and our hearts are content. We reaffirm our belief that only ALLAH knows what is best for us and whatever ALLAH decides, is in our best interest. So we should follow ALLAH’s commandswith sincerity. May ALLAH guide us and ease all our difficulties. Ameen. -------- Points to remember ------- Ÿ It is not advisable to opt for Istikhaarah if the matter is already decided. Ÿ Resolve to follow the guidance of ALLAH , even if it clashes with our own desires. Ÿ There is no room for Istikhaarah for things that are Farz (obligatory) or haraam or makrooh . Ÿ There is no set time period for Salaat al-istikhaarah. It is permissible to repeat itmore than once, if needbe. Subhaana rabbika rabbil ‘izzati ‘amma yasifoon. Wa salaamun ‘alal mursaleen. Wal-hamdu lillaahi rabbil ‘aalameen. Ÿ It is important that we genuinely strive to do best in whatever we are intending and then seek ALLAH’s help. ALLAH rewards our intention and efforts.
