Istikhaarah www.UniversalAim.org 05 Allaahumma inni astakheeruka bi ‘ilmika, wa astaqdiruka bi qudratika,waas’alukamin fadlikalazeem. Fa innaka taqdiruwa laa aqdiru, wa ta’lamu wa laa a’lamu, wa anta ‘allaamul-guyoob. Allaahumma in kunta ta’lamu anna haazal-amra (then mention the matter or concern here) khayran li fi deeni wama’aashi wa ‘aaqibati amri faqdirhu li wa yassirhu li summa baarik li fihi. Allaahummawa in kunta ta’lamu anna haazal-amra (then mention the matter or concern here again) sharrun li fi deeni wa ma’aashi wa ‘aaqibati amri, fasrifhu 'anni, wasrifni 'anhu. Waqdir-li al-khayr haysu kaana summa radini bihi. Meaning: O ALLAH! I seek Your guidance [in making a choice] through Your knowledge, and I seek strength through Your Might, and I seek from your great bounty. For You are all-Able and I am not; and You know (it all) and I do not know and You are All-knowing of the unseen. O ALLAH! If in your knowledge, this matter (then mention the matter or concern here) is beneficial forme in respect of myDeen (religion) and of my livelihood (Dunya) and the consequences of my affairs then facilitate it for me, and make it easy for me and then bestow your blessings upon me in that (matter). O ALLAH! And if in your knowledge, this matter (then mention the matter or concern here) is harmful for me in respect of my Deen (religion) and of my livelihood (Dunya) and the consequences of my affairs then turn it away from me and turn me away from it. And enjoin for me the goodness whatever itmaybe; thenmakeme contentwith it.
